So you want start an internet portal?

I saw everal infographics during the last years. About Logos, Typography and so on. I always liked this way of sharing knowledge and help a bit with all the little Designer Problems. The first I saw, was the periotic table of type and even this made me wish to make an own info-graphic like this.

Related to a conversation I had some time ago with a friend, who wants to start a web-portal for photographers, I want to share my thoughts about this with you as a diagramm/informational graphic.

Without this list being claimed to be exhaustive, I tried to include anything I know about this and which I think is important.
I hope this may help some of you, who think about starting any web-project. Often I saw ppl just starting without any thoughts about concepts and so on...
Excuse mistakes, if you find them, or tell me about, that I can correct. I'm no native speaker and my last english lesson was about 6 years ago ^^ (ok - I just made them for you to proof, if you read everything! )



Feel free to spread, but don't modify it without my permission or use it without a link to me. Art is not a free-for-all-good. There's a lot of work behind this stuff! I hope this won't turn out bad, like it did with some other pieces, I did... this turned me off from sharing a print-PDF of this. I'm afraid if someone would abuse this...
